More than 20 major interstate transmission projects and many more significant intrastate projects are in various stages of development around the western US. Each of the major projects has its own website, with information on size, purpose, and in some cases the routing(s) proposed.
To facilitate access to information about these projects, WECC has created:

2) Interactive Map of proposed projects in the entire Western North America
