Western Grid Group, Western Resource Advocates (WRA), Renewable Northwest, Sustainable FERC Project (S-FERC), Northwest Energy Coalition and Environmental Defense Fund filed joint comments on West-Wide Governance Pathway Initiative a proposed entity, governed independently, that can deliver market services throughout the West, including California.

WGG, Utah Clean Energy, Western Resource Advocates, NW Energy Coalition and +350 Bay Area wrote a letter to Secretary Raimondo recommending a decisive rejection of a tariff that hinders solar development.
In its comments, WGG requested that the filings be rejected due to the fact there has been no opportunity for public comment on this issue and no demonstration of the need for changes proposed. Review the comments as submitted here.
On August 6, 2018, Western Grid Group, Sierra Club, DL Energy, Gridworks, Western Resource Advocates, NW Energy Coalition, Vote Solar and Natural Resources Defense Council sent a letter to Commissioners, Chairs, and Leadership of FERC, WECC, and NERC regarding the future of a Western Interconnection with multiple reliability coordinators. The groups expressed their concerns and recommendations regarding the likely potential of a future for the Western Interconnection that will involve the management and coordination of multiple Reliability Coordinators.

June 22, 2016 – Western Grid Group (WGG) and other public interest organizations filed comments on the CAISO SB 350 study results that list 19 categories of unquantified RSO benefits..
The comments estimate the benefits could triple those reported to the California legislature, and could be worth up to $165 million by 2020 and more than $500 million by 2030.
